President Iohannis: Romania has become exporter of cyber security solutions

Romania has become an exporter of cybernetic security solutions, President Iohannis stated on Tuesday in Iasi.

He underlined, at the debate titled "The new Iasi. Moldova Capital as Romania's major technological growth pole", that in the cyber security area "Romania has done remarkable progresses through the highly qualified work force."

"Another area which deserves to be carefully explored and exploited is the innovation in respect to cybernetic security, where Romania has done remarkable progresses through the highly qualified work force. Today Romania became an exporter of cyber security solutions, this representing a competitive advantage which needs to be strengthen," the head of state said.

On the other hand, the President believes that "the IT sector's dynamism has to also be stimulated through integrating the IT&C in the other industries with growing potential, after a coherent development strategy," referring to industrial development  and to reindustrialization," which can be born by criss-cross the innovative potential with different branches of industry."

"Romania needs a national competitiveness vector in line the development of future industries, by placing together, for example, the auto industry performances with the innovative potential of the IT sector, thereby to strengthen the bases of a new stage of technological development, which today is called Industry 4 point 0," President Iohannis stated.
